Our Top Fortnite Streamers List

1. Ninja

Ninja is one of the biggest names in Fortnite and might have one of the largest followings in gaming in general. Ninja did previously compete in a lot more competitive Fortnite events. He placed well in several events in 2018, and even in one event in 2019 in a long hiatus. He simply doesn’t go for competitive events as a contender anymore. He placed well in the Chapter 2 Season 1 FNCS finals but hasn’t bothered to compete in the actual event of the Fortnite World Cup. He instead played in a special celebrity side event. While Ninja might still have the skills to compete, he has pivoted away from being a purely competitive Fortnite player and more towards content creation. Although he is characteristically toxically competitive about that too!

Now that Ninja is back on Twitch, he’s one of the best Fortnite Twitch streamers. For a while it looked like the streamer had backed off on Fortnite. However, he’s been back in a big way with the launch of Chapter 3. Ninja has returned to the title that made him a household name. His streaming style has changed over the years, but it has to downplay his influence on both Fortnite and streaming as a whole. He is probably the most famous Fortnite streamer, and possibly the most influential streamer as a whole.

2. Loserfruit

Loserfruit is one of the top Fortnite streamers and overall streamers around at the moment. She plays a variety of games but is probably best known for Fortnite. She’s even had an in-game skin produced because of this. While there have been a few others, Loserfruit had the second Fortnite Icon Series as one of the best Fortnite streamers in the game. Loserfruit’s attention does switch between games from time to time. However, her Fortnite streams are still some of her biggest.

3. Clix

Clix is one of the top Fortnite streamers attracting huge crowds to his streams. Clix is also well known for being a pro player. He is often a high-ranking player in Fortnite Champion Series events. 4. Mongraal

Mongraal is another pro player who has branched out into streaming in a big way. While he’s known for playing at a high-level, his performances on streams brings in just as much attention. Mongraal has played a variety of games over the years and doesn’t always focus on Fortnite. However, he has had a big following in Fortnite over the years.

5. NateHill

Nathan Anthony “Nate” Hill is a member of FaZe Clan and of the most prominent Fortnite streamers in 2022. As a content creator he frequently sits on the top of the most-watched Fortnite channels. Unlike a lot of other older names in the game, he stuck around and is still playing a lot of Fortnite. The player has competed in tournaments alongside streaming. He has gone on to be one of the best Fortnite streamers as well as being an impressive player.

6. SypherPK

SypherPK is a Fortnite competitive player and streamer who has a decent following across YouTube for his content. While he is a Fortnite streamer with a focus on fun, SypherPK plays at a competitive level. He makes great content out of the title. He has remained one of the top players in Chapter 2 of the game and into Chapter 3.

Recently, he has unveiled his own fashion apparel line called Metal Umbrella, featuring gaming-inspired pieces. You can get various hoodies, shirts, hats, and bandanas designed and approved by the streamer himself.

7. Bugha

Bugha first rose to prominence as a Fortnite pro player, but he’s also quite the streamer. In terms of subscribers and viewers, Bugha is one of the most watched Fortnite streams on the whole of Twitch. The player has gained a following for his pro-level gameplay, but viewers stick around specifically to watch him play. Bugha can provide the kind of commentary that only comes with knowing the workings of the game really well.

Bugha’s prominence as a streamer has made him a go to content creator for watching pro matches. That’s especially the case as he’s started grabbing big wins in tournaments again.

8. Dakotaz

Dakotaz is a great player and could likely drop into a game with the majority of the player base and perform miraculous feats. However, he doesn’t put himself up against the very highest tier of the game anymore. In the past, he played for TSM but has since left to focus entirely on streaming instead. Dakotaz is a bit unique as a streamer. For a long time, he didn’t use a face-cam, so streams were entirely based on his commentary and gameplay. While this has changed, his content has always relied more on substance.

He now plays a variety of games but Fortnite is often in the mix when not busy with Valorant.

9. Nickeh30

Nickeh30 is a streamer with a bit of a difference in Fortnite. He’s focused on being entirely family friendly with his streams. While lots of streamers have young audiences, Nickeh30 focuses on making his streams safe for all ages. He doesn’t have the biggest following, but he has a steady audience and fills a niche that no other streamer does.

10. Lazarbeam

Lazarbeam is definitely one of the most popular streamers but you’ll only catch his stream at strange times. He primarily makes YouTube videos, but streams when amassing the footage for these clips. Lazarbeam makes fun content. It often revolves around trying to get wins despite admittedly being bad at the game. While Lazarbeam’s streams have fallen off in volume recently, he’s usually online a decent amount when his Fortnite Icon Series skin is back in the store.

Honorable Mentions

We have some honorable mentions we have to put on our list. They were at one point two of the biggest Fortnite streamers before they moved onto other ventures and adventures.

TimTheTatman

TimTheTatman is one of the best Fortnite streamers but also a really solid player. He doesn’t focus on the competitive side of the game though. Instead, he actually plays the game for fun on streams! It gives him the freedom to play a lot of different games. His skill level is high from playing Fortnite as a living for such a long time, but he doesn’t really count as one of the best players.

He has done well in the limited competitive events he enters, but he plays a lot of different games rather than focusing on one. TimTheTatman is another one of the top Fortnite streamers who has moved towards other games, specifically Warzone. He doesn’t play much Fortnite right now, but it could change again in the future.

Tfue

Tfue was one of the biggest names in Fortnite, being a great competitive player and streamer. He eventually stopped playing though, with other games replacing Fortnite on his streams. Recently, he’s returned to Fortnite for brief periods. If this becomes regular again, then Tfue will probably go back to being one of the best Fortnite streamers. While he’s often on Warzone now, he became one of the most famous Fortnite streamers.

How much do Fortnite streamers make?

Why do Fortnite streamers play on low settings?

The top Fortnite players tend to be on low settings to get a better performance out of the game. In competitive games, getting a high FPS is much more important than having nice shadows. Streaming itself can also be a drain on a PC. So running Fortnite at low-performance mode lets them get a great FPS rate and perform better.

What streamers have Fortnite skins?

Fortnite has been making a few skins for content creators and streamers. At the moment, these streamers are the only ones with Fortnite skins:

  • Loserfruit
  • Ninja

  • Lazarbeam
  • Bugha
What streamers play Fortnite on PS4?

Some of the top PS4 Fortnite streamers include Bewitching, 60fpswithadream, and RazorX. While console Fortnite players aren’t as common, these are some standout streamers that use PS4 often enough. Nickmercs was definitely the top player for a while, but he has now switched to PC.

What streamers play Fortnite on Xbox?

On Xbox, the popular streamers include Gornky and Trypal. This isn’t the most popular platform, but these are two great players who are on it.

Which streamers got banned from Fortnite?

Fortnite doesn’t have too many rules, but there are some that they enforce pretty strongly. Even if most of your day is spent streaming Fortnite, you can end up getting banned from the game. These are the streamers who have been banned from Fortnite:

  • Jarvis – Probably the most well-known of these players, he got a permanent ban for cheating.
  • Zenon – Zenon didn’t do anything wrong, he even qualified for the Fortnite World Cup. Problem is, he was way underage to compete which means he was banned and disqualified.
  • Tfue – Tfue’s ban might have been a long-time ago, but it was a full ban. He circumvented it by making another account. That he got away with this clear breach of the rules as such a high-profile player is a bit of a puzzle, but he has stuck to Epic’s guidelines ever since.
  • EJLad – This streamer was permanently removed from the game thanks to his use of a FOV extending cheat.
