Champion changes in LoL Patch 10.13

Aphelios – Q turret gun will no longer reset duration upon an attack on epic monsters, lowering Aphelios’s damage to objectives like Rift Herald, Dragon, or Baron significantly. The follow up additional crit damage on R has also been dramatically reduced from 50% to 20%. This patch has significantly curbed his late-game control and dominance.

Cassiopeia – Base magic resistance reduced by 2, now 32.

Gnar – E attack speed significantly reduced at earlier levels from 20/30/40/50/60% > 40/45/50/55/60%, with duration extended from 3s > 4s. Very decent buff for Gnar’s early laning phase as he gets an additional 20% attack speed for an ability he levels last.

Kalista – AD per level lowered from 4 > 3.5.

Kog Maw – Q AP scaling buffed from 0.5 > 0.7. Ultimate (R) AP Scaling buffed from 0.25 > 0.35. Very large damage boost may possibly lead to AP Kog Maw being a viable pick in the mid-lane.

Lucian – Q ability now given a range of 1000.

Nocturne – Nocturn’s basic attacks will reduce passive cooldown from monsters as well, previously only champions. Will largely improve Nocturn’s clear speed, allowing for better pathing and earlier ganks in the early game.

Nunu – Q AP damage and healing scaling increased from 0.5 > 0.65 and 0.7 > 0.9 respectively. Nunu’s ultimate shield will also now additionally scale on 150% of his AP. This will increase the viability of AP Nunu given increased survivability in team fights.

Ornn – Purchasing items with health or mana values will no longer grant Ornn the current increase resource in lane.

Rakan – W base damage slightly increased at later levels from 70/120/170/220/270 > 70/125/180/235/290.

Ryze – Base MR and AD increased by 2, now to 36 and 58 respectively. Will make Ryze slightly better in the laning phase.

Syndra – Q mana cost increased at earlier levels from 40/50/60/70/80 > 60/65/70/75/80. Reduces Syndra’s ability to poke and abuse enemies in the early game.

Vi – Q cooldown reduced at later levels, from 12/11/10/9/8s > 12/10.5/9/7.5/6s. Given Vi builds a 40% CDR build, this is an extremely large buff, making Vi a lot stickier in the late game, with the ability to spam Q in team fights multiple times.

Yorick – Maiden will return to Yorick in 600 range

Yuumi – E mana cost changed from 100/115/130/145/160 > 40/45/50/55/60 + 15% of maximum mana. This is a very interesting change that aims to balance Yuumi. Ever since her release, Yuumi has been able to spam W with her heavy mana build, however, with the recent changes which make W cost maximum mana, she’ll take a hit.

Item changes

Death dance – Damage absorption bleeds passive nerfed for ranged champions from 20% to 10%. Makes DD a much less viable option for ranged AD carries, allowing for assassins to burst them in the late game.
