Diablo Immortal’s First Major Content Update – What to Expect?

Blizzard has been under a lot of fire for Diablo Immortal, but despite all of the backlash, the game seems to be quite successful based on the profit it made in its first month. A lot of players have already quit the game because of its incredible pay-to-win core, but Blizzard just announced the first major content update that could bring some of those players back.

What is the update?

One good thing about P2W games, especially when it comes to mobile gaming, is that the content that comes to such games is completely free, and that is not different for Diablo Immortal.

Naturally, there are going to be a lot of bug fixes and balance changes coming in the future update, but apart from that, the exciting side of the update brings us a Season Two battle pass, a new raid boss, and the Hungering Moon weekend event.

Season Two Battle Pass: Bloodsworn

When it comes to making money, the content that most people are going to purchase is the battle passes, as they offer the most value for the money. As they certainly help keep Activision Blizzard stock in check, the quality of the battle passes is very good, and since this battle pass will reward legendary gems, crests, hilts, and more, it might be worth grinding out.

The premium version of the pass will include various cosmetics, and the empowered collector’s battle pass will include even more cosmetics. This battle pass will run until August 4th.

Helliquary raid boss: Vitaath the Shivering Death

Fighting big bosses is one of the most fun things to do in Diablo games, and while everyone can agree that the competitive side of Diablo Immortal is very P2W, when it comes to the gameplay, a lot of people are satisfied with it, which makes the boss fights just as good.

The new boss, Vitaath the Shivering Death, has an ice theme, and from the art alone, she looks terrifying and cool (no pun intended) at the same time. You will be able to group with your friends and visit Rayek’s Helliquary in Westmarch, where you can fight Vitaath and claim that new juicy loot.

Hungering Moon weekend event

From July 15th until July 18th, players will be able to participate in the weekend event where doing certain tasks will award them with Moonslivers that can be traded for Blessings. Once a player acquires even Blessings, they will be able to trade them for a random reward. Players that “offer enough blessings to the moon” will also be presented with its favor, and to find out what that is, it is best to participate in the event.
